The problem with Star Wars

Bear with me this post does apply to Christianity but Yup. There’s a problem with Star Wars … it doesn’t follow the story. I mean the new movies. It has taken on a world of its own and doesn’t honor any of what is called canon. Canon is what makes it…a good story. It’s what makes it a beloved story.

I personally haven’t read all the Star Wars stories – but my brother has and explained why he hated the sequels. I hated them cause the acting sucked and it just didn’t follow the attitude of the whole genre – cause by this day and age? Yes. Star Wars is it’s own genre.

Back to what I’m saying – the movie sequels. They don’t follow the story – they don’t honor what has been the … story for years. They go off on their own tangent and try to make us believe this is what needs to happen.

Get the correlation yet?

What is it called? Progressive Christianity? Exvangelical…ism? New ageism? Whatever the word is – has infiltrated the church in a big way.

People are taking the Bible – throwing it out of the window and going in the direction that they want.

That’s not how it works peoples.

It is the Bible. Now with regards to my analogy? it’s not even close … cause the Bible is actual truth not a story.

The Bible is truth – how do I know? I did my own research. Asked my own questions. And read my Bible.

What’s my point? Do the exact same, please people. Jesus warned us that there would false prophets (see Matt 24) arise like crazy (my words) during the end times and y’all?

It’s the end times – granted just the beginning. But this is when you start. We hafta to protect ourselves.

We are in a battle for the most important thing – our souls. God has given us the tools (see Ephesians 6) it’s up to us to use them.

Please for your sake my friends – use those tools.

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [a]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Ephesians 6:12
