I wonder…

I like to sit here and wonder. Like I wonder… why cant we be real with each other? Like I sit here and i have pain shooting through my arms and hands. Why? Well … I’m still waiting for an earlier appointment.

Why cant I tell people about it? shouldn’t we be praying for each other? Shouldn’t we be asking the hard questions?

As a spoonie? People tend to not ask me how I am and ignore me because they dont want to ask that question. Cause they know – I am real. I am open. I am honest about my struggles. My question to you – why does that scare people?

Think about it – how are we to get people to pray for us? For those who are not Christian, I can understand. That induces a feeling of helplessness, but as a Christian? When my sister tells me of their struggles? I say a prayer as soon as I am done talking with them. Mostly cause I know I’ll forget – but i pray.

We need to be warriors.

We need to stand …. or really kneel and fight for our suffering brothers and sisters.

Cause let me tell you – I aint alone in my struggles. Most importantly?

You are definitely not either.

13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

james 5:13-15

  1. Father God, I lift up Jessica to you. By the stripes of Jesus she is healed. In the name of Jesus, I command all pain to go and not return. Sweet restful sleep is her inheritance in the Lord. Healing and refreshing sleep is hers. Thank you Jesus for the manifestation of complete healing in her body, soul and spirit. All trauma in her life leave in Jesus name. Abundant life and more abundantly is hers! Jesus purchased not only Jessica’s salvation but also deliverance from being a spoonie into whole and complete and you are the Lord, Jessica’s healer. Thank you Father that it is already done. Amen and amen!
