You can’t make this stuff up

I swear when it comes to my family? You can’t make this stuff up. What stuff? We’ll allow me to tell you…

My grandma is now home with the Lord. But my family is here for consolation and whatever the word is called … camaraderie?

I don’t know

Anyways – it’s been 2 days and I’m done with them being here.

I told my daughter to do something and she was told I was wrong and to do something else…

So then other stuff … but here’s the kicker: my brother is here. I love him being here but we are barely together now for a reason. What that reason is … is a whole different post.

Moving on.

My brother was drinking a cup of water and called me over to the living room (where he was watching a movie) from the kitchen and the following happened:

My brother: *motions with his eyes to the cup*

Me: *in a loud whisper* that’s called a cup

Him: *laughs* …. *laughs some more* but it’s your cup in your house

Me: yeah cause it’s a pretty cup

And I walked away thinking he get the clue – well what do you think?

I wanna be mad but it made me think of God and us. How patient and kind and merciful He is.

I can at least try to do the same with my brother … maybe?

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;

1 Corinthians 13:4
