Entertaining Angels

I love this song. Its from old school Newsboys. Its about the bible verse (see below). Talking about how you never know when you are entertaining angels. Remember that time when the guy was gonna hit me? I didn’t see the angel then – but I know God sent them. Cause I called upon His name. God is always there for us.

And? I am always gonna share with you when God was there for me.

These past couple of weeks i’ve been suffering from an injury – from walking. Yeah. that happened. Moving on. spoonie life is rough yo.

Its been pretty painful – I don’t want to go to the doctor cause what can they tell me? Well I probably should …. lemme think on that.

so

I’ve been in pain doing my regular life – like Costco runs. I go to costco by myself cause – well my kids cant handle it. People have literally almost run them over with these giant carts … ok. im stopping cause shoo

So me going to this bulk store alone means – i do everything alone. Packing … unpacking … hiking up my stairs. I don’t say this for sympathy but for you to understand my leg is throbbing just at the thought.

So after leaving the store, I packed up the car and turned around to push the cart to the corral thing (is that what its called?) and I prayed a short prayer: Jesus help me please. The pain was bad by then. But heres the thing; there was an elderly gentlemen walking pass me by with a cart, I smiled and waited for him to pass. To which he replies: let me get that for you. He took my cart and his and walked to the corral before I could say anything.

God answers you friend. You just may not think it at the time – but He is always there. Look for those blessings.

Was that man an angel or a kind gentlemen? I don’t know. I don’t really care. I am just grateful that God is always there when I need Him.

Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.

Hebrews 13:2
