Things get in the way

Like for real. Things get in the way and it really pisses me off. Like I went to the doctor finally for my latest injury. I was optimistic, I was joyful looking toward finally starting the process of healing from this and then the doctor told me I was too fat.

Too fat.

This girl is too fat.

The girl in the intro pic … what the heck do you call that .. featured image? Anyways, thats where I started. So in his opinion – which I might add he didn’t look at his records for the information THAT WAS THERE ALREADY! Sorry but medical gaslighting … fat discrimination … whatever you want to call it? Really pisses me off.

Sorry had to vent. Moving on.

It really hurt my feelings. But the thing is as a spoonie? I’m noticing more and more this is a usual. So what do I do about it right? Something needs to be done. Right?!

Yes and no.

I write about it – tell others it can happen. Help others find their voice. And? Most importantly – pray for people like that. Why? Cause things … or as in this case … people get in the way. The problem is with them. things get in the way. People are stupid. all these things/people/whatever is gonna take your eyes off God.

There will always be things/people/places/marches/political rulings/and so on that will piss the living daylights out of you. There will always be things to take your focus away from God. Fight. no wait. Not like that.

With prayer. With the bible. Fight for your relationship with God.

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 [o]But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your [p]brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the [q]tax collectors do so? 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Matthew 5:43-48
