Looking at me .. I look fairly normal except for my eyebrow. You may think I have a political statement or fashion statement. But it’s really much simpler…I’m chronically ill
It looks like I have half an eyebrow .. cause I do. Because of my POTS symptoms .. or hypothyroidism or family genetics .. or over-tweasing. I honestly don’t know.
But what I do know? Is people look at me weird and I hate it. I can’t judge them for .. whatever they’re thinking. cause I do the same – even when Jesus told us not to (see Matt 7). But we are human .. gonna fail. We are gonna judge others based on what we see/hear/feel.
I think that we forget that simple little fact: we are sinful creatures. We are gonna judge. We are gonna fail. God loves us despite what we do (see Rom 5:8)
Think about that – God loves us no matter what we do or how we fail (As long as we confess our sins, and accept Him into our hearts to be ruler of all – He will forgive us).
So if God … the ruler, King, creator of all .. can forgive us and love us in spite of our faults – who are we to hold grudges and judge each other?
Remember that my friends when you see someone different than you. Love first.
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
