Confessing

Ok I’m confessing the truth … I opened up my Instagram account again.

There’s a certain draw to that app. It’s weird.

Well .. I honestly started it up again so I can find out more information on POTS. And I did – but then I started noticing other things.

I was looking for attention. I was looking for people to like me – I was seeking attention from others.

Again.

When will I learn?

But even before that? I started to notice the kids. People were only putting kids on their pages doing stupid stuff. Kids being kids – but extra. There were swear words, lewd acts, suggestive language- coming out of young elementary aged kids! It kinda hurt my heart. These kids are being used to get attention. That’s when I noticed I was doing the same.

I tried to turn it around and just be like: “oh I’ll just post Christian stuff” .. but that would just turn to the same.

How many people liked my post?”

There’s something about social media that people are not realizing: it’s all about self.

It’s all about how can I get more likes? How can I become vital?

There was this story about a woman being … violated in the worst way possible. And people stopped .. not to help her, but to videotape.

It’s all about self.

The part about this post you need to realize? This has been all written about in the Bible. See 2 Tim 3.

These are the beginnings of the end times. Are you ready for that? Are your loved ones ready?

“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.
“And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.
“Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’
“Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

Matthew 25:1-13

Lord I’m ready now
I’m waiting for Your triumphant return
You’re coming so soon
This world has nothing for me
I find my peace and joy solely in You
Only in You
I want the world to see that
You’re alive and living well in me
Let me be a part of the harvest
For the days are few
He’s coming soon

… People get ready Jesus is comin
Soon well be going home
People get ready Jesus is coming
To take from the world His own

… There will be a day
When we will be divided right and left
For those who know Him
And those who do not know
Those who know Him well
Will meet Him in the air
Hallelujah
God is with us
Those who do not know
They will hear “Depart, I knew you not”
For my friends you see
There will be a day when well be counted
So know Him well, know Him well

… People get ready Jesus is comin
Soon well be going home
People get ready Jesus is coming
To take from the world His own
People get ready Jesus is comin
Soon well be going home
People get readyJesus is coming
To take from the world His own
